pirates for modern...this deck focuses on getting rid of counters and removal from opponents hand via Kitesail Freebooter, Thoughtseize or just countering spells via Siren Stormtamer, Lookout's Dispersal and beating down your opponent. I also have board clear via Fiery Cannonade, Fatal Push, Touch of Moonglove, etc. I am aware of Spell Pierce, Mana Leak, etc as I run them in my Merfolk deck as well as my modern dragons deck that I made.

OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS!!!! I would love to hear any cards you might think run better, whether its my land base or counter spells, or creatures even!
