I wanted to make a tribal EDH deck, and birds seemed pretty cool.

Just like Niv-Mizzet, I really did not intend this to be budget. I guess birds aren't that popular of a tribe. They're pretty cool with a lord in the command zone, but their lack of recruiters is probably the reason that they aren't popular, plus the fact that there's not that many good birds to use in the 99.

Strategy

This is your average tribal deck, and with the bonus of practically all the cards being filler commons. You cast birds, and Overrun your opponents with either Mirror Entity or Kangee with a bunch of feather counters. Funny that this is an aggro deck without red (then again, you have Edric). Anyways, the mindset you have to have for this deck is:
