The night is cold and the trees are bare as you trudge down the lonesome road. The moon peers down like a dead eye as the clouds part and grim, cheerless light illuminates the landscape. A great castle looms in the distance, its tall towers lit from within like dying embers. Shapes too large to be bats float around its ramparts. Fear grips your heart and chills your veins, but you cannot stop your approach...

This deck is meant to be as flavourful as possible without sacrificing power. As such, I'm including as many odd cards that fit even though they might not be as powerful as some other choices.

The cards chosen all are supposed to relate to the various classic vampire themes: blood, terror, death, the night, etc. The trappings of nobility and consummate predation.

Several of the cards are for setting the mood (e.g. Bad Moon, Season of the Witch), and some are the kind of things that you might just find in a haunted castle (Cabal Coffers, Gate to Phyrexia). It's still a work in progress. Anything currently in the sideboard is a card I'm looking to add but don't own.
