not sure on the duskmantles, as they would annihilate you if you reveal one of your creatures. If you're looking for beats in the air, he's fun especially with rancor, but I'd look elsewhere as he doesn't seem to fit your theme or strategy. Maybe Dredge manglers for haste plus the option to scavenge?
