Budget Simic Aggro with an Evil Elvish Cyborg

Commander / EDH

DwaginFodder

Ezuri, Claw of Progress seems like a commander where you can just gather together a pile of ramp and two- and three-drops and it just kind of works.

The game plan of this deck is to try to play Ezuri early, and to immediately start stacking on experience. Many creatures have some sort of evasion so that when you start stacking counters on things, your opponents have to start tossing removal. That doesn't bother you much, because next turn you either add more counters or recast Ezuri and then add more counters.

Your best creatures are probably Skyship Plunderer, which is the closest thing I have to a proliferate engine, Marang River Prowler, because they're never going to get rid of it until it's exiled, and Jadelight Ranger, which I perpetually keep in a spare sleeve hoping that buylist prices will increase.

The deck also has a lot of card draw. For example, why did Wizards print Secrets of the Golden City at common?! It's kind of broken in any deck that uses another color with blue (which probably is what spurred the double-blue mana cost, but I digress). Also Mulldrifter came in the precon. 'Nuff said.
