Started as a very budget deck that I have been slowly upgrading/changing over time. Constant work in progress.

Playing it

Using the low cost pingers such as Nettle Drone, Thermo-Alchemist, Lobber Crew, Shepherd of Rot, Plague Spitter, or my fav the Cryptolith Fragment   to ping as you pay the costs for Rakdos himself.

Once you got Rakdos on the board, if you can protect him with something like Lightning Greaves that would be optimal. Then let the smacking begin. Once the smacking happens you get sweet discounts on all of our creatures, with the potential to play cards like Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre much sooner than they should be playable.

There are only a few tutors in the deck, including Rune-Scarred Demon and Conduit of Ruin(for colourless creatures), Tutor options obviously depend on the situation but Ulamog is generally a nice choice. But also if things are rough and Rakdos isnt lasting, You may opt to grab Quicksilver Amulet to help get something going. Rakdos Charm is always a fun one against token decks, or Blasphemous Act.

Upgrades

Further upgrades to the deck will likely be to replace some of the coloured fatties with better colourless ones. Lands are always something that can be upgraded. The mana generating artifacts are a new addition to the deck, it's possible that after some time I may decide to cut some of them back if it feels like too much. But so far it seems to be a very nice and consistent mana ramp. You can't rely too much on Rakdos, as much as you might wish you could. Suggestions for future upgrades without breaking the bank are always welcome!
