Our theme is simple. It revolves around putting cheap creatures on the battlefield, then sacrificing them to either buff our Blood Aspirant(s) or Thunder-Thrash Elder(s), or as fodder for Goblin Grenade(s) or Artillerize(s...es...es).
Suspend Greater Gargadon a few turns for one red, then when enough small creatures are in play sacrifice them all at once to simultaneously enhance Blood Aspirant and bring the Gargadon out of its coma.
Vexing Devil is a fantastic one drop in this type of deck. Either you get a hefty board presence as early as turn 1, or later on you hit your opponent for 4 damage and any Blood Aspirant(s) already out are immediately buffed.
It goes without saying, but try not to trade kills early on or otherwise sacrifice your weaklings until you have some cards on the table that can make use of their untimely self-destruction.
For the wealthy trust-fund crowd with more green than a tribal elves deck, exchange a few mountains for Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and maybe a Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or two for maximum effectiveness.
