This is a deck idea I had from a while back, and I'm revisiting it. Suggestions are appreciated. The idea is to shut down your opponent's deck by putting Pariah on an indestructible creature, thus preventing all damage to you.
I'm not really decided on a win con. Right now I threw in Primordial Hydra as the main win con, but there could easily be a better choice. This is what I could use the most help with.
Ideal game
Turn 1: Mana dork
Turn 2: Play Rhonas or Darksteel Myr. Myr can act as a blocker if necessary. In an ideal situation, all you need to do is survive turn 2.
Turn 3: Put Pariah on an indestructible creature. Keep 1 mana open to Faith's Shield it from Path, -X/-X, bounce, enchantment removal, etc.
Turn 4: Play Primordial Hydra, keeping 1 mana open for Faith's Shield if possible. Attack until you win.
In the event that you don't have Pariah or whatever, stall the game with Voice of Resurgence and perhaps Primordial Hydra. Try to get what you need using Commune with the Gods. Potentially, you could win just with Voice, Primordial, and Rhonas.
