Pesky little merfolk with all their stupid counters.

Very fun and cheap to play!

Don't need a fancy mana base, just make sure you start with an island and a forest in hand, even if you mulligan to 4, you can make up for it pretty quickly. Not worried about running removal too much as the goal is to have your creatures become unblockable and you can Unsummon while you get set up. Very fun engine with Deeproot Elite and Deeproot Waters . Cast a merfolk, trigger Deeproot Elite put a 1/1 counter on it, generate a merfolk token, put a 1/1 counter on it. Then when Herald of Secret Streams hits the board, swing out with all your unblockables. River Heralds' Boon and Hadana's Climb are there to load your creatures up with counters as well. Merfolk Mistbinder just ties it all together nicely.
