Sideboard

Sorcery (6)

Artifact (2)

The deck totals with the sideboard under 25$!

The plan is simple in that you construct as many buildings as you can during your match. The deck works off using Winding Constrictor as well as Maulfist Revolutionary ability to speed up the process of adding brick counters. Cards like Luxa River Shrine , Edifice of Authority , and Pyramid of the Pantheon may not seem very good at first, but trust me , once fully built they become a factor worth dealing with. On top of it all, cheating out cards with Oracle's Vault is always fun.

The deck also using Winding Constrictor ability with energy counters as a sub-theme in order to be relevant in the format. Glint-Sleeve Siphoner getting two energy counters every attack is really useful in order to continually draw 2 cards per turn.

How to Play

The early game for this deck works with deathtouch creatures, Narnam Renegade and Aether Poisoner , to give yourself time to build. As mentioned before Glint-Sleeve Siphoner allows for additional card draw. Of course ideally you have Winding Constrictor out too.

The mid-game works with building your brick counters while holding off attacks with Aethersphere Harvester and Bristling Hydra. Die Young is a great kill spell that handles the new gods and goes well with the synergy of the deck.

Late game your in control with your built buildings and the free cards your gaining with Oracle's Vault . Demon of Dark Schemes really allows for a great finisher.

Sideboard

Appetite for the Unnatural for Cast Out, Always Watching , and Heart of Kiran.

Deadlock Trap for Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

Gifted Aetherborn for Aggro decks.

Lost Legacy for combo decks. ex Approach of the Second Sun, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger.

Scarab Feast for Delirium decks, Torrential Gearhulk, and recursion. ex Scrapheap Scrounger, Dread Wanderer, Haunted Dead , Prized Amalgam.

Take Down for Heart of Kiran and Archangel Avacyn  . Also possibly Spirit decks.

Budget

If you wish to see the non-budget version of this deck (still runs under 100$ without including Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet in the side), then you can check it out here Legos in Standard! (Actually Competitive). Although you'll find that other than the land base, the deck functions very similar.

Matchups

Did quite well (and only reason I'm posting this deck) against Mardu Vehicles and Ballista.

Can struggle with aggro decks if not enough early drops are played. Did well against mono black aggro but struggled against RW Humans

Excels against Midrange as this deck itself is Midrange to Late game

Does consideraly well against control, due to often time than not, your opponent will not counter your buildings and Luxa River Shrine fully built is annoying. Also the early game deathtouchers get under the counter spells and take heat with kill spells. Expect to play without Winding Constrictor in this matchup as it will most certainly be killed off or countered.

Finally, YOU!!!
