Okay, so i decided to revamp my first EDH deck as i was growing ever more sad to see it gathering dust in the back of my closet, as the powerlevel of my usual playgroup has risen. BUT NO MORE! Say hello to the new and improved Rakdos, Lord of f*cking your friends' shit up.

Okay, so the main problem of the deck was that Rakdos draws A LOT of hate in my playgroup, and i mean a freakin' shit-ton of hate. I'd usually play him just to see him get countered or otherwise dealt with before i could utilize him. This would usually happen 4-5 times each game, until the deck was virtually unplayable. I tried to add more protection for the poor fella, but it just didn't cut it. Finally i realized, that if my friends were making the game unplayable for me, then maybe i should try and return the favor and thus: Staxdos/Rakdouche was born!

So the main idea of the deck is to flood the board with fatties before sealing the deal with one or multiple of the Lockdown Pieces. A combination of Nullstone Gargoyle + Void Winnower or It That Betrays + Keldon Firebombers pretty much wins you entire games. Rakdos fares surprisingly well on a 'staxed' board, as he more or less relies on a seperate 'mana-pool' and ensures that you empty your hand fast, which allows for a lot of land destruction and discard.

Aside from the lockdown pieces i've also added protection and haste enablers (as Rakdos now becomes an even greater hate-magnet than before). This allows him to either stay on the board longer, or at least get the ball rolling with a quick strike.

At The moment, this deck is still in development, so i would love to hear you guys' opinion on it! ATM i personally think, that i should add more removal and additional tutors, as removal is always nice, and the lockdown-pieces aren't always easy to come by, but i just don't know where to cut anymore. Oh and im kiiinda on a budget, hence why there are no Eldrazi Titans in the deck and such, so i'd be glad if you took that in consideration when suggesting cards :)
