The only thing better then Cruel Ultimatum, is the one the grows legs to walk over and slap your opponent in the face. Therefore, the deck utilizes Living Lore to do just that. The way to do this is to utilizes Faithless Looting to dump Ultimatum in our yard, then cast Living Lore, exiling it. Then after dealing damage and popping, we get to cast it, returning the Lore to then exile Cruel Ultimatum again, repeating the cycle till our opponent dies.The deck plays a variety of cards to help the consistency of the combo, as well as cards that help us get the mana to just cast Cruel Ultimatum. Bring to Light or Dimir House Gaurd can dig out a Lore for us, or find Cyclonic Rift to clear the board. Pentad Prism is one of the best ramp spells in the format for this kind of deck, letting us power out an early Lore or Ultimatum. Mulch and Explore help us hit land drops, with Mulch sometimes helping yard an Ultimatum
