So I have a relatively large collection and my play group can be very competitive which dissuades new players joining. This deck was a challenge a couple of us are doing to prove to people that you don't have to have hundreds if not thousands in a deck to win. Money cards may help the process but it is not required. So when giving suggestions just know I have a real Vorel deck that is pimped out and hyper competitive. This deck list is designed to be an extremely cheap jumping off point to get yourself in the front door in an edh scene and still stand a chance. So everything is in this list is below 1 dollar when I created it. Even Sol Ring was omitted for it being 2.00. I did it this way to show some of the easy ways to upgrade once the base deck is acquired. Some easy cards that should be added while upgrading the deck just check out the maybe board.

Update Note: Its been 2 years, wow time goes fast. Anyway it seems a bunch of cards have inflated in price in this list so it isnt the impressive 27$ it was when I first made the list. I went and made some obvious replacements we got in the last couple of years, lol @ Blinkmoth Infusion Dramatic Reversal I still think 60ish $ is a cheap entry deck and this will let you compete with a real % of winning which was the whole point of this challenge we made. So if anyone knows of any obscure cheap cards we could use to make this budget list better let me know. Vorel is one of my favorite decks. The OG Aquaman.

Ensnaring Bridge, Crawlspace, and storage matrix are anti-aggro cards. My meta is more combo oriented, but if you struggle with a aggro focused meta I would reccomend swapping out cards such as Witchbane Orb and Jolt the above mentioned.
