So, this is my attempt at a Budget Standard U/W Aggro deck largely relying on Kefnet the Mindful and a couple Double Strike creatures for the win. It is budget and I've built it based on the paper cards I own. I am very happy to hear upgrade ideas and any suggestions to improve the deck over all. I'm not too sure if the mana base is too high for the mana curve, so opinions there would be much appreciated. I feel like this deck runs well with 4-5 mana for 1 or 2 drop creatures into 1 or 2 mana pump/tap target creature spells to get in damage or go over defender toughness.
3x Skyline Cascade to punish aggressive play and give me a turn to draw cards/ get in free damage.2x Desert of the True for possible late game card draw into better plays if the mana isn't needed.1x Ipnu Rivulet for mana fix if I get Plains flooded. Can probably replace it though.4x Built to Last to pump Slither Blades for free damage or Kefnet to go over other gods.2x Alley Evasion for pumping and winning trades or being tricksy and blocking then returning blocker to my hand so that Kefnet can attack on my following turn or to save a creature from target removal.2x Acrobatic Evasion to save creatures from spot removal, psuedo-vigiliance for an exerted Oketra's Avenger or extra control by blinking Stitched Mangler, extra card draw late game by blinking Cloudblazer
I ran this deck against a few games against a friend that plays B/G -1/-1 counter's splashed with blue for control. I pulled out the set win, first game by Fumigating, playing a Skyline Cascade after he swung in to keep Scarab tapped down, then on my next turn used Kefnet to draw and top decked Pressure Point to tap down the Kefnet he'd eternalized from my grave, finally swinging in for lethal. The second game he just got mana screwed. I was able to resolve Kefnet, draw cards, bounce my fourth land to have 7 in hand. after that a couple successive Pressure Points on his Obelisk Spider let me keep 7 and get in for the win.
I don't how this deck would do against meta decks, as my two LGS mostly play Commander and limited draft.
