I decided to try and get back into Standard with the three colors of magic that I have the most of, that being Grixis. After constant testing and revising, I now have this $50 budget build of a deck that requires the user to screw with the opponent's board and hand to clear the way for the get big creatures in the deck

Overview

I wanted to get back into standard and so I built this deck to see how well my deck building skills are. Originally it was Dimir and then with the banning of Emrakul I tried adding red for Zombies. With testing and playing, this deck has become the Grixis shell that you see now. Built around prowess, the deck wants to pump up its creatures to do devastating damage to the opponent

First Standard Test: 0-3 — Aug. 1, 2017

Edit

Round 1: B/G Delirium. Did not have an efficient game plan as to beating down with creatures, lost in two games. Got tips as to how to improve my deck's build and with what I should probably have in it. Took note to add an additional Lost Legacy to sideboard

Round 2: Got a bye

Round 3: Esper Kiran. Had a somewhat better idea as to how to play the game, lost because of mana shortage in game 3. Got some advice as to how much land I should be playing with the top curve being Sphinx of the Final Word.

Round 4: U/W God Pharaoh's Gift aka Blue White Delirium. Lost in two games due to lack of lands and Dispossess to get rid of the three God-Pharaoh's Gift or four Gate to the Afterlife. Now I have two copies of it sideboarded for the matchup.

All in all, I say it was an ok night, both the deck and sideboard have been updated to reflect its current state and I hope that the next time I test the deck that it goes better compared to tonight.
