Sideboard

As brutal as a deck can get.Yes, this deck can win off of Razortip Whip.

I was just thinking of a deck to beat control, the archetype I hated the most. So what was the best way to beat it? Hexproof?(Boring) Mono-Red?(Boring) I wanted to show control players that giving me too much time was a bad idea. But normal bombs(Which would take advantage of the time given) are useless against control's abundance of answers.

Then the thought came to me; the goal of the deck I build should be to completely obliterate control. Anyone who's lost to control, like I have repeatedly, knows that losing to control is never fun, because whatever cool game plan you had is crushed mercilessly. I want to give control players the experience I had.

I would do this through slaughter games, razortip whip, havoc festival, and sire of insanity; i would strip them of all their threats and answers and grind them down. They would die with a useless hand or nothing at all.

So it turned into a generic prison deck. If I had to go to the dark side and become control to beat it, than I would. Since standard is more diverse than just control, I had to put in anti aggro tools and anti midrange tools, making the deck a bunch of answers and a few threats.

The deck itself is a bit of a mess. The goal is to stop whatever your opponent does, land a threat, and kill them. The sideboard is where the deck comes together, being packed with useful hate.I would love suggestions, especially to solve some weaknesses of the deck(burn matchup). However, try to come up with cool cards; its not that I don't love Thoughtseize, but give it a rest.

Make sure to +1!! And please pardon my cruelty. I hate control decks, not the people who pilot them.

UPDATE 5/29/14

The deck was not brutal enough. Had to fix that.Changed up variety in answers, we'll sometimes need a Mizzium Mortars to kill off that pesky Blood Baron. Was not feeling the devour flesh. This time we're using ping damage to kill the opponent. Much better, much more brutal. Really gives off the grindy feel when all you do for turn is activate razortip and chandra.Put Erebos in the side to stop lifegain. You'll have to rely on your ability to kill and discard the opponent's threats otherwise.Jace and Inspiration are new card advantage, along with Chandra herself. Also replaced Drown in Sorrow for Anger of the Gods.
