I realize this is budget and all, but I kinda thing this is too good to ignore. Mechanized Production

Thanks for the suggestion Mj3913. That is a card which I have been going back-and-forth on alot. The problem is it requires me to get back to the beginning of my upkeep to win and I have no way of flashing it out. I have played far to many games where a player at the table drops a "win the game" card like Mechanized Production and then immediately dies or the permanent gets destroyed.

If this were a non-budget deck however, that card would most certainly be included because I would be running Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation, as well as better counter magic like Pact of Negation and Force of Will. I'll have to keep mulling it over though as it does fit so perfectly with Brudiclad.

Okay so step 1: copy a flier

Step 2: Clear the ground with Earthquake or a similar effect.

Step 3: Profit!

I like where your head is on that. I have actually been considering adding one more board wipe since I run so few creatures. Plus, most of the tokens I make are either clues, treasure, or thopters so something like Fault Line or Earthquake could be quite powerful here.

Should totally add Scornful Egotist as a joke or a massive creature like a Darksteel Colossus (if the budget can maintain it) or for the best thing ever- Storm Crow.
