I've been playing this deck for a while, and I've explicitly avoided most of the truly degenerate combos, hence no Mycosynth Lattice or Rings of Brighthearth. I've found that everyone has more fun when infinite combos can be seen coming, and this deck plays to the board in a way that if it will win, everyone will have suspected it and had time to 'deal with it' before it goes off. Then they only have themselves to blame.

There's lots of ways to generate infinite mana (my favourite: Gilded Lotus + Staff of Domination + Sculpting Steel + Clock of Omens because it also draws the whole deck), and some really weird and durdly combos (the durdliest below). For everyone who keeps asking, Butcher of Truth is the better of the two Kozileks to be general for this deck because he always draws 4 no matter the number of cards in your hand - lacking Staff, you can use Erratic Portal to unsummon and recast him.

Best combo in the deck: Cast Emrakul, the Promised End taking the turn of the player to your left. With Vedalken Orrery , Unwinding Clock , Erratic Portal , and mana rocks that tap for mana equal to Emrakul's casting cost and just one Erratic Portal activation, you can continuously Unsummon and recast Emrakul, the Promised End on their turns targeting that player and taking control of their extra turns until they deck out. Rinse and repeat the process leftwards around the table until everyone else has milled themselves to death.

A solid soft-lock is Null Brooch , Unwinding Clock , and Clock of Omens , which basically prevents everything worrisome to this deck except for Krosan Grip and Bane of Progress at the low, low price of having no hand.

The Maybeboard is mostly cards I plan to test or cards that I've cut with some trepidation and may add back in sometime in the future, particularly if there's a nasty synergy I can exploit!

25 June 2019 Update: Added a bunch of foils and converted my cards that are not available foil into French copies. Also added a Karn, the Great Creator wishboard (To guarantee no problems, the sideboard is very mediocre and at the beginning of the game, I pass it around to make sure everyone knows in advance what I can grab. Springing sideboards on players who are not used to them being available has gone poorly for me in the past).

2 March 2020 Update: Very little in recent sets has been so exciting that I felt the need to add it. In this update, I have finally finished the pimping process to my satisfaction! The only other improvements that I will be making are finding/commissioning alters of English versions of the un-foilable cards.
