Sideboard

I've been playing with this list on Magic Arena for about two days now after fine-tuning the card choices over the last week or so. This deck plays very well against the current meta (including most forms of the mono-red aggro deck, the titan ramp deck, amass variants, mono-black devotion, flash control, etc.). I still haven't spent much time thinking about a sideboard. I would love suggestions.

Envoy makes almost all of the aura spells one mana, which allows for more profitable spell-casting. It is critical in this build to try to play a Bronzehide lion with the additional two mana open to support its ability if possible, but it isn't necessary. Also, Alseid of Life's Bounty is an incredibly strong card. It has a lot of utility throughout the entire game. Not only can it protect your best creature from removal, but it can also sneak in extra damage at the end of the game.

Questing Beast is in the list for good measure, as it triggers the Iroan Games enchantment, but is also a serious threat which (after being enchanted) becomes devastating.

Warbriar Blessing is very good removal for early in the game, and Setessan Training acts as a cantrip with a big upside on the aggro front. Pacifism can stop a lot of decks early on. Warbriar blessing is very underrated removal IMO. Destiny Spinner and Dawn Evangel are new adds to my original build. Destiny Spinner is a very solid card, as it can block and has a bunch of upsides. The Evangel hasn't come in the clutch too often, but for now it is in the MB (any suggestions for replacing it are welcome). Of course, All That Glitters is just crazy and forces your opponent to scoop most of the time. A single copy of Mantle of the Wolf and three copies Banishing Light are included for some versatility in the mainboard. I like the idea of surviving a board wipe with two wolf tokens to boot.

An ideal opening would be: (1) Plains and Alseid, (2) Forest and Bronzehide Lion, (3) Plains and First Iroan Games, (4) Forest and Questing Beast. Naturally, you may say a better opening hand has another Alseid (for protection), Warbriar Blessing (for removal), or something else... the above would just be a blowout unanswered. Turn 1 Alseid, Turn 2 Envoy, Turn 3 two aura spells enchanting Envoy and still mana up for protection is also great.

To my knowledge, this is the very version of this list on the internet.

Cheers and happy deckbuilding!
