I like some of the ideas in here. I think with as many red cards as you have in here Vampire Nocturnus may be somewhat of a liability. I also think that it may be good for you to determine a couple clear win conditions and try to find ways to enhance those specifically. For instance if you want to pump up Falkenrath Aristocrat humans should be in the deck for you to sac. Ash Zealot and Thatcher Revolt /Reverberate are some good places to start looking.

Please take a look at my deck deck:sparkling-andy-warhol and let me know what you think.

Because its mostly vamps if I did change to that type of play -sac tokens for life loss I would have to change the whole deck. Good idea though and something to consider since its a faster win con . But then again like I said I would have to change the deck up completely .

I would recommend Stromkirk Noble and Bloodthrone Vampire instead of cackler. bloodthrone works best with a sac engine, but i have wrecked and been wrecked by it in vampy decks.

I would run more bloodline keepers, i feel they are a staple in any vampire deck

They are four mana and if it came between a falkenrath or bloodline falkenrath wins every time but I will consider two Atleast to put more pressure on the enemy .. If it doesn't slow things down which is what I'm afraid of . Well jrodeck thanks for the input . I'm def going to playtest.

Im upset that people consider Bloodline Keeper  Flip before Vampire Nocturnus in an aggro deck. Bloodline Keeper  Flip is not for aggro.

In order, from aggro vampire to control vampire, priorities should be like this...

Falkenrath Aristocrat -- Vampire Nocturnus -- Bloodline Keeper  Flip -- Olivia Voldaren

There are no other 4 drops to even consider. There are upsides and downsides to each to be sure, but when they work right, they are phenomenal in their role.

You need to decide whether your deck is aggro, midrange, or control first, and that will be your deciding vampires in which to choose. If you could run all of them safety, to it, but to be honest, you cannot.

Screaming air bitch, (Falkenrath Aristocrat ), is hasty and can survive most things. I am reluctant to put her in front of Vampire Nocturnus in the aggro scale, because aggro decks have a lot of little guys, and Vampire Nocturnus can enforce WELL OVER 4 damage when he hits the field. However, there are not enough little vampires to make him as good as he was in the zendikar / shards block. So he is behind the screaming air bitch.

Bloodline Keeper  Flip is more midrange, and a better choice if you are not going to be able to kill the enemy the moment you drop him. He is great against other aggro decks as he produces tokens out his ass, but Ive seen him used more often than not in situations where he needs to chump the vampires he makes because the enemy is much faster and already attacking consistently. In theory, when he transforms, you win, however its not even close to as consistent as getting a black card on top of your library.

Olivia Voldaren in this meta is a beast. Shes not good in a vampire deck, per se, but a deck running black and red needs her if they are not an aggro deck.

In all my experience playing vampire decks, when Vampire Nighthawk and Vampire Nocturnus were reprinted, i think i shat myself. Think hard on how you want your win condition to be, and that will be the deciding factor into which cards you choose for your 4 drop game changers. Through years of vampire play, Vampire Nocturnus was the card people feared... i think Bloodline Keeper  Flip softened everyone's worries, and its time to have Vampire Nocturnus resurface. I really really suggest changing a deck to conform to him. You can still run cards like Stromkirk Noble , you just cant focus around mono red burn spells as much. Good thing Dreadbore is black ;)

And again, these are just my opinions. If you have any contradictions to what Ive just typed, I'd love to defend myself and try to get you around to my way of thinking. I welcome a dispute, as it brings about the best course of action through clever deducing abilties!

Happy hunting.

Well I agree with just about everything so it's good to use some solid advice finally and me saying this doesn't mean that everyone else's is wrong just he came to the root of aggro etc ..pretty much gave me a better understanding on how things need to go so don't take it personal people . So yeah thanks for the advice and how is the build now ? Better?

Looks fun, sounds like a good time too (the update story). I completely disagree with your analyzation of Stromkirk Noble, even if you dont mainboard him because he's "weak" you should at least side board in case you come against a human/token generation kind of deck; but to each his own good stuff.

Olivia Voldaren ? She's fun burn and gives you free mind control. Or pinging your own creatures to make them vampires and grant them first strike. I've been destroyed by it before. Anyway...gratz on your sucess!
