Backstory Show

- Excerpt 1: "Breya, Etherium Shaper learned to command powerful works of artifice on the Esper shard of Alara. Her mastery of lightning and expertise with etherium enable her to unlock the full potential of her creations and overwhelm her foes."

• Excerpt 2: "The Esper shard of Alara is driven by the "Noble Work," an effort to augment all living things with an aether-infused alloy called etherium. Esperites believed Alara's etherium supply was finite because no one could create it, but Breya has proven them wrong. While exploring Jund, Breya discovered carmot, a red stone necessary for creating etherium that didn't exist on Esper. To prove her achievement, Breya replaced the majority of her organic body with etherium she created herself. Soon after, Breya realized that the wild magic of Jund had influenced her metal, granting her powerful new abilities."

Win Conditions Show

Primary wincons

• 1: Breya, Etherium Shaper + Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake: Play Drake, Soulbond with Deadeye, play Breya, Flicker Drake, Flicker Deadeye to soulbond with Breya, Flicker Breya, ad nauseum for infinite mana of any color, and infinite Breya triggers.

• 2: Breya, Etherium Shaper + Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle/Eldrazi Displacer: Sacrificing Breya and her tokens with Altar or Ironworks, and using Nim Deathmantle in response to bring Breya back for an indefinite amount of mana and Breya triggers, or sacrificing her tokens for 4 mana, flickering her with Displacer for 3 and repeat for infinite mana and Breya triggers.

• 3: Breya, Etherium Shaper + Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry + Ashnod's Altar / Krark-Clan Ironworks: Sword of the Meek returns

Alternate Wincons

• 4: Salvaging Station can bring back Sol Ring/Darksteel Citadel/another artifact land, which can then be tapped for mana again. They can be sacrificed by Thopter Foundry, and Sacrificing the tokens with other cards (such as Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks, or Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer will cause Salvaging Station to untap, and thus we have another infinite loop.

• 5: Disciple of the Vault/Marionette Master/Reckless Fireweaver/Purphoros, God of the Forge/Blood Artist can be used as part of any of the above combos, or just to expedite everyone else's death.

• 6: infect can work with Breya, Etherium Shaper/Reckless Fireweaver/Myr Battlesphere if an infinite combo can't be achieved. Personally I only run one: Tainted Strike, but the two black auras that give infect are both great.

• 7: Feedback Bolt can be a great way to finish off one player.

• 8: Since Breya, Etherium Shaper can gain us life relatively quick, Aetherflux Reservoir is viable for killing off players.

• 9: Any creature which produces more than 1 token when they ETB or die (Wurmcoil Engine, Marionette Master etc.) can be used instead of Breya to get infinite tokens and mana with combo 2: Ashnod's Altar/Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle/Eldrazi Displacer

• 10: Mycosynth Lattice + Hellkite Tyrant/Vandalblast = great way to lose friends if the first 9 didn't do it.

Non- Wincon Infinite combos, and Other Card Interactions Explained

• Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry is a well known combo. On its own it doesn't go infinite, but it definitely gives Breya a much needed boost. She is not only hungry for mana, but tokens as well. Just having these two cards out significantly helps your game.

• Basalt Monolith + Power Artifact = Infinite colorless mana. It's another classic combo. You can also run Grim Monolith or Rings of Brighthearth as alternate pieces for the same result, But I personally only run the first two.

• High Market + Nim Deathmantle + Peregrine Drake = Infinite life and infinite mana of any color you can tap.

• City of Shadows is a highly underrated card in my opinion, and can be used in response to one of your creatures dying from an oponent's card effect. It's especially useful with tokens, or if you can't save your commander (since your commander can never be exiled). In this deck it might be a LITTLE slow, but is still a very effective card in situations where your boardstate keeps getting wiped, for example.

• Windwright Mage is my mascot. I've wanted to put her in a deck for years...longer than I can remember. I know she's not a great card, But I enjoy running one quirky card in the 99 that I really like. I'm a weirdo like that. She stays.
