Bant aggro Humans, trying to take advantage of the tribe's powerful lords and aggressive beaters to finish the game quickly and pairing them with the disruptive hatebears to stop the opponent from doing the same.
Burrenton Forge-Tender - The existence of Anger of the Gods pretty much single-handedly justifies including these but they also help against aggro decks.
Veil of Summer - For Jund, Death's Shadow, Dimir Urza, Lord High Artificer decks...basically anything that has counters, discard and/or Fatal Pushes.
Relic of Progenitus - For graveyard decks - surprise, surprise - Dredge, Jund, Underworld Breach and so forth.
Damping Sphere - For Tron and Storm, primarily.
Stony Silence - Urza, Lord High Artificer, Tron, Walking Ballista decks and, if I ever see it again, Affinity.
Lavinia, Azorius Renegade - Impedes Tron and stops Summoner's Pact.
Path to Exile - Prowess, Infect, opposing tribal decks, creature-based combo decks like Devoted Druid; just anytime where having a piece of removal is extra important.
