Braids, Conjurer Adept is a very powerful card in its own right. She allows you to play massive creatures and artifacts for free, as well as ramp a bit when needed.

First, however, we must make sure our opponents don't do silly things just because Braids is on the board. Vanishing and Vodalian Illusionist can both phase Braids out before anyone else gets to use her ability, returning just in time for us to have some fun. Similarly, Paradox Haze lets us use the trigger two times every turn. The deck also has some ways of finding these cards, as well as return them from our graveyard.

For when our opponents play their good stuff we've got a good amount of ways to bounce and copy their stuff, and thereby gain card and board advantage out of the deal.

The deck has a small sub theme of token generation through Chasm Skulker, Master of Waves and Meloku the Clouded Mirror, all aided by Braids in their token creation in one way or another. (Skulker profit from more mana left to spend on drawing, Master can be played for free onto a high devotion board and Meloku can bounce lands for us to replay during our upkeep.) Caged Sun pumps the tokens and Mass Polymorph lets us switch our small tokens for much more intimidating creatures.
