Thanks for the comment. I think I'm going to replace desperate with faithless. I don't have a problem dumping cards in my graveyard since I'm running Deathrite but I don't gain anything if it dumps a burn card. Honestly when and if I make this deck it will be exactly like this except different land since I'm not budget ... but I'm also not spending $20 on land cards ...
I love the mechanics of this deck and used it for inspiration. I swapped the Guildgates for Dragonskull Summit since they are very inexpensive. I also added Vexing Devil which are still reasonable now and they work fantastic with the Artists. (Of which there are four as well). The trade off was making a couple of the sorcery and instant cards a 3x versus a 4x to stay at 60. Great deck!

Love straightforward decks like this lol. Only thing i can say is you may want to go for better card draw utility, you arent going to be flashing back Desperate Ravings so when you cast it, you are losing one card at random and itself for two cards which you cant assure will be useful. Throwing in creatures that have scavenge or undying from the new set may make card:Altar's Reap a better idea. And swapping out the gate cards for the dual lands is a good idea too, but being a budget FNM player, I personally wouldn't want to throw out too much money like that.
