Story time Kiddies....

So, I have been working on Pirates for a pretty long time. IN FACT I have generated many a Pirates list recently, and have piloted many to a decent finish in a few local events, and a PPTQ. But I am never done working on things.... Recently I have been intrigued by all the RB Aggro that has been showing up, and doing well at events. I have messaged many folks about it, annoyed my Teammates, and spent hours pondering what and where I am to go with this idea. So after combing list after list I have finally found a shell that I like. Lets examine this shell:

Bomat Courier: My mentor, Master Jon at the Dojo of the Mountains, has proclaimed this is the best card in standard BECAUSE if it goes unchecked it WILL win you the game. I was VERY hesitant to believe him. But after much meditation, and watching this little 1/1 CRUSH people I finally concurred. Little "B" is a house.

Scrapheap Scrounger: This is my guy. He is one of the best Aggro cards printed in the last couple of sets. He is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of. He negates 98% of the removal in the current format, and beats for 3.

Fanatical Firebrand: Possibly my most FAVORITE card from Rivals. He's a beater, he's a removal spell, and he's a finisher. Never is he a dead draw.

Captain Lannery Storm: She is just great.

These were the 4 cards I saw in many lists..... So to round out the Pirate theme......

Dire Fleet Captain: EVERY list had at least 1 beater. This is our guy. if left unchecked he can get out of control.

Fathom Fleet Captain: This is possibly my favorite Pirate of all time. Not only does he have menace, but he can replace himself with another 2/2 menace Pirate. Plus he works really well with his Dire Fleet companion.

Ruin Raider: Mr. B I would like you to meet Mr. Ting! He draws you cards, he pilots ships. The life loss may be scary to some but this deck really uses it's life as a resource. He does it all.....

Rounding out the deck is Push, Strike, Contempt, and Angrath.

So tell me what you think!
