BR Aggro

Olivia isn't aggro. I love her but she's too slow for the format let alone for aggro. Falkenrath Aristocrat is much better. She can swing right away and can put the extra points of damage in by sacing zombies to her while blood artist is out.

Ok thanks. This is very true and I kind of forgot about the Aristocrat altogether, let alone realizing the combos it presents with blood artist.

Although a tad bit costly, Brimstone Volley as helped me win several games by just sac'ing a creature with Falkenrath Aristocrat , then shooting to the face for 5. Of course, I wasn't playing with Bonfire in my build. How has card:Devil's Play worked out for you?

As far as brimstone volley, maybe? This deck has a lot of trouble with getting the right colors of mana because I only have dragonskull summit until the dual lands for return to ravnica are revealed (assuming they are playable and exist). Because of that, I am tentative to add too much red. With that said, I don't really like how faithless looting has worked so I may be rearranging some stuff soon.

As far as Devil's play, I like it. It works well and often will not cost much more than brimestone volley. Also, I like it better than killing wave so i may replace the killing wave with devil's play.

I have the same problem with color, mainly because I didnt want to buy a playset of Blackcleave Cliffs so close to rotation. I am really hoping for some very fun R/B cards from the Rakdos side of RtR. I tried Faithless Looting , but found it usually set me back unless I had a Gravecrawler in hand..which isnt every hand. I think I will try out card:Devil's Play. Fun looking deck, cheers! +1

Agreed on faithless looting. I may try sign in blood or just wait until ravnica cards come out to see if something else can work.

Oh and I know your going for post rotation but I would go with shock over pillar of flame in this build. It takes advantage of when things die so exiling them isn't helpful. Possibly switch to Murder or Searing Spear

I like Searing Spear better than Murder in the main deck. For most things in standard at the moment, 3 damage is usually plenty for things. But Searing Spear is definitely better than Pillar of flame from the testing I have done, so I believe I am going to take your advice
