"Erebos heard a sweet whisper far back in his mind. He scroffed it off as an epiphenomenon of his exile; the unintelligable words never bothered him, they were a welcome distraction to the loneliness of the Underworld. But after a few centuries, the muttering stopped for a sligh moment - a few years for a mortal, but not longer than a momentary blink for a god. Then out of nothing it emerged again, louder, more intense and clearer than ever, yet whispering: 'Behold blessed perfection.'"

Hello and welcome to your path of enlightenenment, flail your skin and become a modern monstrosity of Machine and Nyx.

The aim of this deck is to unleash hell upon your opponents in a strong and potentially explosive mid- and decently strong lategame.

In the early turns we try to disrupt the opponent with hand control utilizing the black all-stars Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize as well as with creature removal in Hero's Downfall, Go for the Throat, Dismember and Gatekeeper of Malakir.

Turn 3-4 the Invasion begins - both Vampire Nighthawk and the aforementioned Gatekeeper of Malakir are good ways to start some pressure but alongside the beautiful Phyrexian Arena start to stack up our devotion. But the best way to go into turn 4 is surely Phyrexian Obliterator - he is a removal magnet, but he dodges widespread used spells such as Abrupt Decay or Lightning Bolt and if he sticks, he wins. Anther lovely 4th turn drop is Lashwrithe or as a follow up to a living Obliterator.Gray Merchant of Asphodel finishes opponents on a consistent basis + he synergizes very well with the Arenas.Whip of Erebos helps negating early damage + returns potentially countered or killed Obliterators for a swing or Garys for another huge drain trigger later in the game.

I chose to mainly run swamps due to Lashwrithe, the only exceptions are 3 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for potential ramp and a Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to turn those shrines into swamps.
