So we all know that eminence is a nutty ability, and this whole deck wants to capitalize on Inalla's token-making ability. You'll find that most of the wizards in here have ETB triggers (Venser, Shaper Savant is my personal favorite, with Puppeteer Clique as a close second). The base operation with this is to play an ETB wizard, pay an extra 1 mana, and get that ability twice. This would be a fine plan if you were a person who was afraid to ask for more sauce at McDonald's, but I expect only the boldest players to be here looking for that hot Wizard content.

So step one: make copies of your ETB wizards. Easy. Baby food. Hell, you've even got Urza's Incubator and Stonybrook Banneret to make it easier. Step two? Copy the heck out of them with Naban, Dean of Iteration and Panharmonicon. With a single ETB-doubling effect in play, playing a Wizard with a 1-mana Inalla copy coming in with it gets you 4 of its triggers. With both, you're looking at 6. Late in the game, resolving 6 Puppeteer Cliques in one turn is pretty much a game ender. There are also a few cloning abilities like Phantasmal Image to abuse triggers by copying Wizards.

Speaking of game enders, let me tell you about step 2: ways to actually win the game. By using clones and theft abilities to win using other people's cards, you'll get that extra bit of rub-in potential that I know some players crave. My personal favorite way to do it is with Purphoros, God of the Forge. This card can burn your opponents out pretty handily just by doing what the deck normally does (bounce and blink Wizards over and over again), but it goes especially buck wild with Master of Waves. Let's say you have Purphoros on board and no other Blue cards. You play Master of Waves. It makes 1 elemental and Purphoros burns each opponent for 4. Now, let's say you copy that Master of Waves with Inalla. This time, Purphoros is dealing 8- and that's assuming that your devotion to blue is only one with Master of Waves.

Now let's imagine a world in which you have Panharmonicon. You play Master of Waves, which triggers twice. Each creature entering the battlefield also triggers Purphoros, God of the Forge an additional time, so your one Master of Waves (making two tokens thanks to Panharmonicon) is dealing 12 damage to each opponent when it comes down. What if we add Naban, Dean of Iteration to the mix? If he's on the board and you play Master of Waves, your devotion to blue is two, meaning that Master of Waves will make 2 elementals. We double that for Panharmonicon, and add an additional trigger for Naban. Your one Master of Waves is now making 6 elementals, triggering Purphoros three times for each one. Hence, one Master of Waves becomes 36 damage. Using Inalla to make a second Master of Waves will, at that point, probably kill the rest of the table. (Note: I know Purphoros is an expensive card. A fine budget option is Impact Tremors. It does one less damage but it can still get the job done.)

Some other tips I have for playing this deck are:

Use Trophy Mage to get Urza's Incubator first, at least the vast majority of the time. After that, when you either blink it or copy it I recommend grabbing Cloudstone Curio as this sets up a vicious 2-card value engine. Curio also lets you recast your Master of Waves by bouncing it when one of its tokens hits the field.

Spellseeker is one of the most difficult Wizards in this deck to properly use. If you're only getting one trigger off of it, I'd suggest grabbing a counter spell if there's no immediate threat or any removal card if there is one that you're trying to get rid of. Also, Diabolic Intent is a great fetch off of Spellseeker, especially if you use Inalla to copy it and then sac the token to Intent to get the tutor. Another note with Spellseeker is that I wouldn't recommend grabbing Exsanguinate unless you're either trying to end the game or really desperate to not die.

After you counter a spell with Glen Elendra Archmage, she becomes your number one blink/bounce priority. Blinking her or returning her to your hand to recast her resets her -1/-1 counter, letting her persist ability trigger again. She's best friends with Crystal Shard. On the subject of Crystal Shard, nine times out of ten you're using it to bounce your own stuff with the intention of replaying it.

Although it's tempting, don't tap out all of your mana for Gadwick, the Wizened. You're gonna miss out on playing the cool stuff you drew into with him in the same turn you cast him.

Ashnod's Altar Gives you more value for making Inalla tokens, even covering their cost and then some. Since the tokens are going to die at the end of turn anyway, it's good to be able to really squeeze them for more value. Also, stealing something with Sower of Temptation and that sacrificing the stolen creature later is a stellar power play.
