Game One
Had an opening game against an Orzhov Extort deck. First game was pretty overwhelming and fast, as Champion of the Parish and Reckless Waif
Flip did all the work. The second game, I found myself mana-screwed, being stuck with 1 Plains. He took out a Cavern of Souls with his High Priest of Penance. Knight of Glory won the game, taking it, 2-0.
Game Two
Opponent used Grixis (R/B/U) with dirty 4-drops. She ran Olivia Voldarens, Desecration Demons, vampire knighthawk, and Griselbrands. I knew I had to rush against this control deck. Turn 3, I brought out Silverblade Paladin and next turn, Hellrider to take the wins. Another 2-0 game.
Game Three
Opponent had Jund (G/R/B) Counter Nation. Predator Ooze and Corpsejack Menace found me. Elite Inquisitor and Knight of Glory had no trouble at all. This Boros was made to play against Zombies and he ran quite a few. Game was fast, 2-0.
Game Four
Same opponent from last week's final round. He ran the same deck, W/R/B with lingering souls and Boros Reckoner. First game, I ended up drawing lands for 4 turns. His Aurelia, the Warleader got him the win. Sided in almost everything against his deck. Faithless Looting, Unburial Rites, and Lingering Souls helped him out too much. Needed to sideboard full-force with graveyard hate. Got the second game with 2 Champion of the Parish and 2 Reckless, getting him to scoop. Round 3, I found myself out of Oblivion Rings, because someone had to find Boros Reckoners. He got the win, dropping down a Aurelia, the Warleader with a couple Spirits. I scooped, being at 10 life. Still got the Call of the Conclave FNM promo, winning the random roll give-a-way. =]
