8000 VIEWS AND TOP-RANK #29 ON FEBRUARY 10, 2017!

Thank you so much to everyone who has viewed and commented on my deck over the past 4 months it has been up. Really impressed with the love it has been getting!

Background on Deck Creation Idea

A White/Red Human Aggro deck I have been piecing together with my leftovers from White Weenies. Subbed out the Origins cards that had rotated out for some red humans. Also removed the Smuggler's Copter in light of the recent Standard ban coming with Aether Revolt. Any feedback/comments appreciated!

Creatures Show

Hanweir Garrison: Good value for a 3 drop and is our main combo piece for Thalia's Lieutenant. If Thalia is out it gets two +1/+1 counters every time the Garrison attacks. Vise-versa if the Garrison attacks you drop Thalia after combat for a +1/+1 counter on the tokens. Definite 4-of.

Kari Zev, Skyship Raider: First strike and Menace go well with our new addition of Invigorated Rampage and both of these cards have wicked value for (1)(R). Also, both go well with Kari Zev's Expertise. Being a legendary, 3 should suffice.

Thalia's Lieutenant: This is our bread and butter. This card is amazing value for a white and a generic mana and pumps all of our creatures as well as gets pumped himself. Don't think I need to explain all the potential plays and synergies for this one. Definite 4-of.

Thraben Inspector: Another cheap value human that helps with our card draw in mid to late game. This is the extra card draw needed for the deck to not stall out. Also, the Clue tokens it generates activate our Inventor's Apprentice nicely. Definite 4-of.

Metallic Mimic: This card has insane value for 2 mana. Being able to pump all of our humans and be a target for removal allowing some other big pieces to stay on board for longer. Definite 4-of.

Thalia, Heretic Cathar: Shuts down opponent's board and is a good target for removal allowing us to keep our other cards in play. 2-of as she is a legendary with 3 CMC.

Aethersphere Harvester: This looks to be really powerful but will require some testing to see if it is actually worthwhile playing MB.

Removal Show

Shock: Originally had Harnessed Lightning in this spot but decided to play-test with Shock instead after adding in Invigorated Rampage. Shock allows me to direct the damage to player for potential lethal after trample damage. Definite 4-of.

Declaration in Stone: Best white target removal in standard right now by far. Immolating Glare is nice too but it still doesn't come close IMO. Definite 3-of maybe 4.

Fun Stuff Show

Kari Zev's Expertise: Allows a huge tempo swing stealing an opponent's creature and also hits about 80% of the deck with the second ability. 2 of these should be fine.

Invigorated Rampage This card is just bonkers and lets us get in for lethal when needed. This plus Kari Zev, Skyship Raider is a huge combo allowing her to become a 5/3 first strike, menace, trample force to be reckoned with. 2-of maybe 3-of, play-testing required.

Sideboard/Maybeboard Show

Need some help finalizing sideboard and maybeboard. Basically I can sub in the Pia Nalaar's, Selfless Spirit's, Chandra, Torch of Defiance and all the artifact vehicles if I am facing a heavy removal or board-wipe type deck. Fragmentize if I face a lot of artifacts or enchantments.

This will require some play-testing as well before I am happy with it. Plan on testing it with some buddies very soon and will return with my results. Stay tuned!

Thanks and I hope you enjoyed! Feedback welcome!

Updates Add

The deck matches up well against R/G Energy, W/R Vehicles and W/G Humans. Had difficulty against Orzhov Control Superfriends and U/W Flash Spirits which was the match-up I was dreading. Going to playtest with 4xVillage Messenger  Flip in the mainboard or at least sideboard them for these matches where I need even more speed and early game aggression. Plan on attending FNM again this Friday, more updates to come soon!
