The deck works more often than not by me buffing up my creatures and swinging for >8 out of nowhere. The burn spells are mostly used for creature destruction, but I've been able to win with a Boros Charm + Lightning Bolt combo. It's pretty satisfying seeing them fill the board with creatures only to see their life go from 7-0 instantly.

Another combo I played for the first time was Boros Charm + Monastery Swiftspear + Titan's Strength . By turn 3 you can use Titan's Strength to buff MSwift to a 5/3 via prowess, then play Boros Charm to give it double strike, which will activate prowess again, making it a 6/4, and swinging for 12 with a total of 4 mana used overall.
