Anax and Cymede, King and Queen of Akros, peer out their castle window when Cymede, having been previously struck by lightning and granted the gift of foresight, says to her king "Anax, the forces of our enemies are incoming. We must ride to battle." And so it was that they took up the Helm of the Gods, Ethereal Armor, Swiftfoot Boots, and Sword of the Animist to slay the enemies of Akros and as it pleases Iroas, God of Victory. Seeking Shelter in the Mountains they Assemble the Legion while preparing the attack. Anax says to his queen, "We will be victorious this day, Gods Willing. The enemy draws near. Let us pray for a Sphere of Safety that we may Emerge Unscathed whilst we Condemn those who oppose us." Having faith in Iroas, they rush into a Fatal Frenzy of battle with the best soldiers in Akros and the Hero of Iroas wielding a Scourge of the Nobilis at their side. The battle raged on and the blood of the enemy spilled across the Warped Landscape as Anax unleashed a Volcanic Strength upon his foes. More enemies continued to pour out of the Looming Spires, and seeing Anax and Cymede beginning to struggle, Iroas sent a Guardian of the Gateless and an Aegis Angel to support them in battle which unleashed a Psychotic Fury within Anax. His soldiers followed him with Unquestioned Authority and sought to Brave the Elements along side their king. Once the enemies were placed in the Ghostly Prison, Anax and Cymede traveled to Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to celebrate such a Feat of Resistance.

Deck Strategy: Voltron Anax and Cymede with auras and make use of instant speed protection/indestructible spells to help keep them alive while activating Heroic for +1/+1 and Trample for the turn. Instant speed Double Strike hits especially hard when unblocked, but even if they're blocked a Heroic trigger should get some commander damage through because of the Trample. Boros = aggro, so go for it and start swinging.
