I'm jaded with the idea of attacking. Creatures usually have to wait a turn to attack, and then they only succeed in stomping on somebody's plant token; never mind if they got Abu Ja'far! Screw that guy.

What this deck intends to do is use the likes of Flayer of the Hatebound and Pandemonium to apply damage directly to the opponents' faces, as creatures are repeatedly dug up then hurled. That way, they've been of use before that awkward phase of wriggling past some miserable leper.
