life gaining deck, using as many draw card mechanics as possible in order to get everything you need to gain your massive life in a turn.

This deck manages to beat the meta decks like g/b and mardu - game one can be hard Vs the combo but after sideboard it becomes a lot stronger! :)

It's so much fun! It actually beats aggro :DJust has a slightly bad matchup vs control, but we have sideboard for that :p

but i just tested it a bit and i was in the situation that i needed one more , but couldn't find a plain with the Renegade Map cause you only play one :'D i guess this situation appears once in 1000 games, but to be sure i think it wouldn't hurt to play 2 Plains, so you can find them with the maps in the worst case, when you need to play fumigate or so :'D

but all in all really nice list !!

Yeah, I've played the deck tons and I probably have only had mana issues once out of over 100 games due to not having white, but I still ended up winning that game haha. I feel like the single plains is fine alongside 8 other white sources in the deck :) but I can understand wanting to add a second either way, I just want nearly all of my lands to give me the blue I need for the double blue spells and for when you have improvise on all non artifact spells the 1 blue can be super important.

Glad you are enjoying the list! Probably the most fun I've had in magic for a while!

So my fnm starts pretty early, so it's already over. I ended up going 2-1 with wins against BG delirium and a Jund energy aggro build. Lost the last round to an RG Pummeler deck that was just too quick for me to get any footing. Had a blast playing this deck and it was awesome to beat two tier one decks with it. I can give you more detailed feedback if you'd like.

Well done man :D I know right! Beating the meta decks with this is amazing haha, I also beat mardu Batista, g/b and even managed to sideboard to beat combo. Nobody really plays energy in my meta, I could see that being a problem if they can buff something up quickly and hit super hard. Maybe you could tweak your sideboard to help against those?I'm glad the deck went well for you :) so fun to play.

It's a super cheap artifact equipment card that allows you to draw a card with sram and continue the low costing spells each turn.

Also the 2 mana equip to make sram bigger comes in pretty handy too Vs red burn and grasp of darkness etc.

Consuls could be a good addition if you come against a lot of the combo, but I find the counters and walking balistas work pretty nicely and are enough :)

As for the mana, I wouldn't add anything that doesn't produce coloured mana. You need those colours so much in this deck because of all the improvise. The 1 life on upkeep will not do anything for this deck to be honest, because whenever you win - you'll be comboing off higher than 50 life in 1 turn. Coloured land is more important to combo off with than 1 life on upkeep

I would possibly consider running 2 sigardas aid, its only a 1 mana drop and allows you to play your equipment in response to aetherfluxs triggered ability, maximizing how much life you can actually gain per turn.

I find inspiring statuary to be very important in the combo. Why do you only run 2? Also, would you consider running trophy mage to tutor the statuary?
