A modified take on Zac Elsik's Blue Steel. This focuses more on top deck manipulation to help smooth out draws and reach its goals consistently. The engine of the deck consists of cheap 1 mana blue creatures combined with either Grand Architect or Chief Engineer. Both of these are able push out a turn 3 Lodestone Golem which often buys enough time to close out the game. With Smuggler's Copter to upgrade a 1/1 to a 3/3 with card draw and a Throne of the God-Pharaoh, the game can be closed out quickly, even while assembling the engine. Walking Ballista gives some needed interaction in case the engine is too slow and Wurmcoil Engine is there to go over the top and allow stabilization. Mausoleum Wanderer can help ensure that the key creatures are able to stick to the battlefield.

The deck felt good before the introduction of companions, though I haven't had much of chance to play in the new meta. I think this has more lines of plays, more outs than the original deck, gets to do its thing more consistently.
