"They told me Artifacts can't win, well I'll show them!"

This deck is a simple casual deck that I've built a few years ago, and only recently started to look at it again recently. So I've been looking to make some tweaks.

Currently this is the situation with the deck;

T1 - Island

T2 - Island -> Silver Myr

T3 - Island -> ANY MANA DORK/SPELL

T4 - Island -> Kuldotha Forgemaster

T5 - Fetch for either Platinum Emperion or Blightsteel Colossus

T6 - Profit????

Okay, I won't lie to you, this deck could be a lot faster than it actually is, because right now it all comes down to "The perfect hand". So I would love to get some feedback on how to make it a little faster.

Possible additions are;

Sylvan Caryatid (If I feel like spending a little more money)

Elvish Mystic and/or Llanowar Elves

+1 Blightsteel Colossus and/or Platinum Emperion ??

Some cards I feel should not be in the deck but they are used as filling such as the Karn Liberated and the Steel Hellkite

My knowledge of cards before Ravnica is very limited, so any form to make this deck better for a small price would be greatly appreciated.
