Kira, Great Glass-Spinner provides mega board protection. This deck can build a massive untouchable board. Controlling the board and protecting your board is what this deck does best.

Lighthouse Chronologist with Rite of Replication

Caged Sun with Stolen Identity ciphered onto a Slither Blade

Stormtide Leviathan with Archetype of Imagination

This deck does not fold to board wipes either. The draw in the deck provides more than enough gas to keep going.

The big weakness to this deck is how slow it can be. If another deck gets out some haste creatures or ramps a head early they can end Kira before she even gets started.

A series of Decks for play against each other. Each deck is one of the five colors, and is themed to embody the color. These decks are designed to be fun for the casual magic player. Games go fast. Abilities are fairly straightforward. No combos, no tutors, no planeswalkers, and no hate cards.
Power LVL: 5/10

Speed of Play: 12 (turn)

Difficulty: 5/10

Ramp: 9 Cards that grant access to mana at a rate greater than the turn number.

Removal: 11 Cards that decrease the number of effective cards an opponent has on the field.

Card Draw: 14 Cards that increase access to cards by 2 or more (1 to replace itself and another for gain).

Field Advantage: 7 Cards that put more cards on to the field than just itself.

Card Selection: 5 Cards that swap cards for others (1 for 1).

Evasion: 17 Cards that allow creatures to deal combat damage through another players board.

These are cards that are a common theme in the mono magic decks.
Commander is a casual format to play. Commander is not casual when it comes to deck building. Deck building level is about how much thought is put into the play experience of the deck. A deck needs to be designed in a way that is fun to play and play against. This notion even applies to cEDH decks. It can feel pretty unfun when a lower power deck plays in a cEDH pod and wins, simply due to board state convenience. In EDH it is important to build decks that fit in the meta no matter what the power level of that meta is. The experience of playing the deck and playing against the deck has to be taken into account.

The mono magic series is a way for casual players to jump into a healthy meta with little friction. The decks are constructed to play fast (games will typically end around turns 7-13). With the intent of most games taking under an hour. This is done by taking out a lot of the cards that extend games. There are no tutors, no planeswalkers, and no stax effects. Decks have anywhere from 7-12 pieces of removal. Anyone who knows how to play magic should be able to play these decks with no extra information about the deck before playing.
