What this tries to do is beat the opponent over the head with high toughness creatures like Nyx-Fleece Ram and Spellskite which hit home thanks to Assault Formation and Doran, the Siege Tower.

Update 22/10/16The whole list got changed around. I adjusted the mana-base upon acquiring Verdant Catacombs to make it smoother and easier to hit all colors. The beautiful card Skinshifter aka Nicolas Cage was discovered and has been doing wonders. A full set of Doran, the Siege Tower was added. Collected Company replaced Commune with the Gods. Spellskite got added just because it's a good card that becomes a 4/4 for 2 in addition to its awesome ability. Finally Abrupt Decay found its way in. Overall I'm much happier with this build, and it even took me to a 4-2 finish a couple months ago at an IQ.

We're Turning Blue — June 18, 2017

After some thought and re-evaluating, I've made the decision to splash blue for the likes of 3x Benthic Infiltrator and 3x Tide Drifter, at the cost of all 4 Skinshifter and 2 Anafenza, the Foremost. The reason being is it helps my CoCo's now that another legendary is gone in duplicates, and Skinshifter is such a mana-sink that it's annoying when all he can do is chump block because mana was a little tight and other spells needed to be cast. I'm keeping the same number of basics for Blood Moon, it's just that now my fetches have to be 4 color lands and my sequencing needs to improve. Overall I'm excited for the changes, and all else fails I can easily revert back to the old list.
