Sideboard

Control deck that drains life

Slowly...

The deck is centered around drain effects mainly Ill-Gotten Inheritance as a finisher and bane against other decks that like going into the long game.

The deck has many interesting interactions with many of the creatures have effects that trigger when they enter the battlefield.

Blind Hunter drains your opponent when it enters the battlefield

Lone Missionary gains you 4 life which is amazing against burn and aggro

Finally Thraben Inspector gets you a clue which can be nice late game for draw.

The deck intends to maximize these effects with Supernatural Stamina which allow these creatures to re-enter the battlefield when they would die. Instant speed and only (B) for cost makes it incredibly efficient.

Ephemerate Allows you to flicker your enter the battlefield creatures and pull off a clever trick with Mesmeric Fiend. Casting Ephemerate on Mesmeric Fiend in response to its ETB will allow you to permanently exile a card and take a second card from your opponents hand.

We can also use these Instants on Palace Sentinels which will allow us to regain the monarch if we lose it.

The only downside to these instants is against decks that don't aim to kill our creatures but rather bounce or just prison them. To deal with this we can actually kill our own creatures and use our recurring instants in response, or if our opponent does have a creature we can sac our creatures to spells like Final Payment and then use our Recur spells to save them.

Blind Hunter in particular has a few more interesting interactions with Haunt. If we happen to have none of our recurring Instants we can either let Blind Hunter die or sac it to Final Payment and remove it from the game haunting an opponents creature, then we let our Final Payment resolve and kill the creature Blind Hunter is haunting for another drain trigger.

The sideboard echos a decision I made when I realized a lot of my creatures in the deck are white and added 2x Prismatic Strands to the mainboard. 2 more Prismatic Strands in the sideboard for survival

The rest of the sideboard is against control with 4x Duress and 2x Castigate and then just 2x Shrivel for tokens I guess

Hope you all enjoy the deck :) Any suggestions would be great :D
