Basically this deck is using Blood Artist with a little help from Falkenrath Noble. Basically my goal is to drop an Entreat the Angels to create a bunch of angels. Hopefully by that point I will have two Blood Artists on the field or even a Noble. With the angles created from Entreat the Angels I would attack with all my angels then play a Killing Wave to kill them all for the win.

i think you should take out 2x army of the damned and 2x gisela and add 4x bonfire. kill your opponents creatures, gain loads of life and they lose double the life

It seems like your Splashing red for an insanely expensive effect that I feel is kind of overkill. Yes Gisella is a beast and a half, but her cost is just as beastly and shes doing more than you need in this deck. My recommendation would be to leave her, 1x Army of the Damned , and 1x Entreat the Angels out and drop in 4x Gravecrawler or 4x Butcher Ghoul . They're cheap and for your deck do the same thing as Doomed Traveler which is to provide food for your Artists and Nobles.

mrvoss1: As much as i like Gisella I am going to take your advice and drop the red. I will also drop one of the Army of the Damned and throw in 4x of the Gravecrawler and the Butcher Ghoul . Thanks a lot for the advice, I completely forgot about Gravecrawler . If ya ever have any more ideas for this deck I am all ears. Thanks again!

I don't think you have quite enough Zombies to support Gravecrawler fully. You could just swap in Reassembling Skeleton instead, though the crawler is cheaper, which is awesome. The "can't block" clause is pretty relevant for a control deck though. Skinrender is probably the best zombie for a control deck. card:Geralf's Messenger is quite popular, but I don't think fits here. Black Cat is cute, and Veilborn Ghoul is another recurring threat.

hubatish Ya that is what I have been thinking about Gravecrawler , but i really do like that he is a 1 drop. I thought of Skinrender and Reassembling Skeleton , but they are both cycling out in like 2 weeks. So i need to find a card that will work for a long term deck. I may try out the Black Cat though. That could get really annoying.
I agree with you both that Day of Judgment is much better so i may throw it into a side board until it cycles.

By the way Blood Artist does not deal damage, blood artist makes player lose life so Gisela would not double the life lost. Lossing life is not considered damage.

Am I really the only person who thinks that Army of the Damned will never get cast?
The only way to get lands out of your deck is 2x Liliana of the Dark Realms . If you don't see her, then you just have to hope and pray you draw out 8 lands. And even casting Army of the Damned probably won't get you there. By the eighth turn (probably more like tenth or eleventh), you're either dead, you've won, or your opponent has some sort of beastly field and/or has dealt with your Blood Artist s by then.

Actually, zandl has a very valid point. A deck revolving around Blood Artist should really focus on cheap spells that each benefit from creatures dying, or add more mana ramp, which would mean card:Liliana's Shade at least.

card:Liliana's Shade isn't ramp. It's land-fetch.
Chromatic Lantern is ramp.

I have always wanted to use Army of the Damned . What would you guys advise me on adding to get it out faster? I'm really hoping the new set brings some cards to drop it easier.
