As a fan of Brawl, I was excited to get my Alela deck when the precons were released. However, even after doctoring it up, it just didn't impress me enough and it moved too slowly for me to enjoy it. I had an old Oona EDH deck that I made years ago that I hadn't touched in a long time. I played MTG all night last night with a friend at my house (HAPPY NEW YEAR!) and ended up grabbing that deck out of my deck graveyard. Surprisingly, it did pretty well! I built it when I knew much less about EDH than I know now. I decided I needed to strip my Oona and Alela decks and make one monster EDH deck. ....EDIT FEB 2020.... This deck just didn't perform. So, I've stripped some of the faeries to add more flying and artifacts that have more synergy with Alela. If at first you don't succeed... ;)
