So, in this deck, we're playing Persistent Petitioners , but with a twist. In order to speed-slam our mill plan, we're leaning on Lumbering Battlement .

By exiling our Petitioners with the Battlement, we make him really big. We can then throw his thicc vigilance body into the fray, using the Petitioners as insurance on the Battlement's death.

Alternatively, we can blink him via Justiciar's Portal or Siren's Ruse to untap our Petitioners and mill the opponent for another 12 since the activated ability doesn't require haste, then exile them all again for protection.
