Sideboard

Blackout midrange is my first modern deck. I've played magic for a long time but never competitively. The deck tries to disrupt the opponent and keep them low in cards while beating down with sticky treats. The reason I play mono-black instead of jund/Abzan is partly for budget reasons, but also because I like the flavor mono-black and some of Inte benefits such as being immune to Blood Moon and to be able to reliably cast Geralf's Messenger and turn 1 Thoughtseiz without taking tons of damage.I'm planning to work my way towards green though for the benefit of Abrupt Decay and Maelstrom Puls.Liliana is also a priority for this deck as soon as I can afford her.
