Black-Red Prototype Aggro

Standard Aggro BR (Rakdos)

Enderbrony

Sideboard

A fun aggro deck I've been playing for a bit and have been very successful with it.

An obvious theme in this deck is having little, preferably no, cards in hand for lupine prototype. Cards like bloodrage brawler, an essentially two mana 4/3 with upside in this deck, and lightning axe, help you get there and also help you along the way.

One Drops

Soul-Scar Mage is a one mana 1/2 with prowess, but also gives your burn spells wither, how neat is that?

I'm gonna count Bone Picker as a one drop. Very, very rarely do I ever hard cast it. It's essentially the black delver of secrets. I've had multiple games where I use a burn spell on my own creature to be able to cast a bone picker or two to get me ahead of the game.

I'm ALSO counting fiery temper as a one drop. I guess i've hard cast it a time or two, but this card is in essence a lightning bolt for you.

Falkenrath gorger allows you to cast the other ones when it's on the field , but it's also just a 2/1 for one red WITHOUT DOWNSIDE.

Shock is just solid removal. The reason I use this over Magma Jet is because shock hits the dome, very very important when you're facing decks that don't let you attack much late in the game, leaving you to win using most if not all of your burn.

Lightning Axe is an essential one mana removal spell that helps reduce your hand size for prototype and enables madness. And i've had games against colossus where I axe it with a soul-scar in play, and make it a 5/5, much easier to deal with. Then shocking it makes it a 3/3, something you can deal with without a single problem.

Two Drops

Bloodrage brawler is the bomb diggity! I find it better at most points than furyblade. Although it does not have trample, it also discards and is always a 4/3 so a better blocker. And usually when cards like this are printed nowadays, it'd make you sacrifice the creature if you don't discard a card on etb, however this one does not. So if you topdeck it with an empty hand, you got yourself a two mana 4/3

Kari zev provides evasion, ocassionally combat superiority with first strike, and best of all TWO bodies! And its three toughness gets it out of shock range.

Lupine is my favorite card in this deck, just because it's silly. I mean, as an aggro deck it's already natural for you to want to vomit out your hand. But often, it leaves you without much to do once you're hellbent. With prototype, boy oh boy do you have a hefty threat against the opponent

Scrapheap is INSANE (as we all know). The undeniable and unbelievably insane power of this creature's recursion will win you games. Opponents will either waste removal on it, or won't, leaving you with a 3/2 constantly in play.

Tormenting voice is solid card draw with an added madness enabler.

Yes, I know Incendiary Flow is a sorcery speed lighning strike. However, it of course hits the dome, and EXILES. Boy does this card piss of Zombie players.

The Bombs (bomb diggity's)

Glorybringer is, well, glorybringer. How wouldn't I put this for the late game?

Hazoret is usually more effective than glorybringer in the sense that, I don't often have five lands. Yet four lands in play is something much more common of a situation
