Bitterheart Splendor

My attempt to make a curses deck in modern. Typing this on my phone, so bear with me.

So the main combo in this deck is using Bitterheart Witch or Pentad Prism to get out Curse of Misfortunes by turn three if possible. After you get Curse of Misfortunes out, your first target will almost always be Overwhelming Splendor to shut down any non-planeswalker strategy. Follow that up with Curse of Death's Hold, and you shut down creature stategies also.

Faithless Looting and Cathartic Reunion are not only ways to dig for our combo pieces, but also a way to toss them into the graveyard. Footsteps of the Goryo has multiple targets in Bitterheart Witch (to get a curses for 3 Mana), Ravenous Chupacabra (3 Mana removal), or even Accursed Witch   (changes into curse at end of turn, and make other curses cost less).

Let's talk creatures one second. With the creatures costing 4 or more Mana, the chance of getting anything going before your almost dead is low. Like I was stating with Footsteps of the Goryo, I really needed to get these cards out early. So that's why I have included Pentad Prism and Heartless Summoning. My problem with Heartless Summoning and Footsteps of the Goryo was, the deck only has 15 creatures in it, so including more than a couple copies is waiting for dead draws. Pentad Prism is the catch-all, being able to ramp out 5 Mana spells on turn 3. And that's regardless of spell type. The last creature in the deck is Greater Gargadon, my one and only sacrifice outlet. It gives another use for the Pentad Prism, because after the charge counters are gone, it just sits there doing nothing. And it also dodges removal until it's on the field.

Only one more card to talk about really, and that's Starfield of Nyx. I was on the fence about this one for a while, because agro decks will make short work of me before I can get value off of it. But after play testing, I noticed if I had any curses in my hand, it was better to discard them and spend the Pentad Prism Mana on casting Starfield of Nyx.

I need to work on my sideboard still, so any suggestions would be awesome!
