Here it is! This deck is the worst I have ever built. People are going to hate me for this deck.

If you want to lose your friends this is the deck, it's almost as bad as Leovold, Emissary of Trest

INTRO

This is not the first Competitive deck that I have made but I think its the most degrading deck with . That being said this is not your average deck. Bant colors provide us with the perfect set of colors for a Hate bears-style deck. White gives us access to all the best Hate bears, Green gives us access to all important ramp along with a myriad of tutors, and Blue gives us better stack-based interaction, along with additional card advantage.

This is STAX and control with out being to much of a dick and keeping some kind of theme to it.

This deck started with the idea of making a Bird tribal deck. It wasn't very powerful but fun to play. Attacking with a board full of birds for the win sounds great but couldn't really win.

So here we are to version 2.0 of the birds deck. Version 1 - Rain of Feathers [[Primer]]

GAME PLAN

So the idea behind the deck is to land a series of hate pieces early in the game, stacking the cumulative effects of various effects to make the other decks at the table struggle to implement their game plan. This deck excels against fast, spell-based combo decks such as Zur the Enchanter and Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge. Slightly shakier are creature-based combo decks like General Tazri and Karador, Ghost Chieftain, because although we have the tools to disrupt decks like those as well, we lack the critical mass of hate pieces for those strategies.

Step 1: First you want to get protection and hopefully some ramp

Step 2: The plan is to play some kind of stax to lock down the board.

Step 3: Play your birds and flying creatures to attack for the win

Cards that Matter

Draw Power:

Crookclaw Elder, Windreader Sphinx, Rhystic Study, Sphinx's Revelation, Aven Fateshaper , Skullclamp, Zendikar Resurgent, and Cryptic Command

Utility/Support:

All of these will help pump and keep you creatures alive.

Cathars' Crusade, Gravitational Shift, Soulcatchers' Aerie , Aven Brigadier , Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Bear Umbra, and Aerie Mystics

Ramp:

Because we are also in green we are able to play all of the elves we want. The two best ones in this deck are Selvala, Explorer Returned and Shaman of Forgotten Ways for obvious reasons.

With ramp we also have things that make everything cheaper to play. These are cards like Warden of Evos Isle and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

Wincon:

This is a STAX deck as with everyother deck like this the biggest win con is to lock down the board so only you can play spells and attack. This fills most of the deck see if you can stop them all.

COMBO

I am not really a fan of infinite combos...They can make the game a little faster but are not the way I want to win.Also with STAX you don't need an infinite combo just stop everyone else trying to do it.

WINNING

This deck is kind of a traditional STAX deck. Lock down the battlefield stopping everyone from playing and attacking you then swing out with the birds.

I think it is extremely messed up to play. On the other hand playing a deck that no one expects is always fun and it is cloaked as a basic flier deck.
