Big Ramos

Casual EDH deck built solely around getting Ramos, Dragon Engine big by casting colorful spells then using his +1/+1 counters to cast big things... big large.

Power level is about a 7

Notes: This is my favorite deck, so it gets regular upgrades. Deck is reflective of my actual deck and will be updated when my paper deck gets updated. Changes are recorded in the edits panel below.

Strats

Generally the plan is to ramp (your general Sol Ring and Arcane Signet), cast Big Ramos, pump him up using colorful spells and perform some player removal using all of the Big Ramos mana.

Rainbow Elk makes pumping Ramos really easy through cards like Fusion Elemental, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice or any card with 3+ colours.

Cards in the WUBRG category help cast large things like Pathrazer of Ulamog unexpectedly and independently of Ramos

The general wincons are Simic Ascendancy to count your fingers and win, Pathrazer of Ulamog to scare your opponents with your fingers, Villainous Wealth to play your opponents decks instead of yours, Door to Nothingness for your average player removal, Mayael's Aria for the true Big Ramos wincon, or Conflux for a healthy mix of things.
