Coming to a theatre near you...

In all seriousness, welcome everybody to a deck I built to sort of replace Eldrazi Invasion. The deck was not really working out so I decided to just rework the whole thing and start from scratch. The differences being that there are many hydras in the deck with in their mana costs, which I can fill to the brim with "Floating Mana" as my friend called it in his own Kruphix Deck. Anyway, Let's break it down.

enter image description here

Because this deck is of a rather high mana curve, we need to spend the early game ramping mana. Once the commander Kruphix, God of Horizons is out on the battlefield, he basically takes care of al the ramping for us. Since he is a 5 drop however, he won't be appearing until mid game. So for now we must utilize these cards:

These cards will get you started on the ramping towards getting the double digit mana cost creatures potentially out in the mid game. You could also use Everflowing Chalice in the early game if you need to, but it is preferred to wait until you can get more multikicks in the mid or late game if you can help it.

Some creatures to get out in the early game include Eldrazi Mimic for some extra damage and early game protection. If you really need it, you can unleash an Endless One early game just in case you need the defense. Same goes for morphing Hooded Hydra.

enter image description here

We come to the midgame and it is time for Kruphix, God of Horizons to shine. Once he is out, you can start building up the "Floating Mana", to pour into summoning some eldrazi, or making as big as possible for the following cards:

If the ramping is good enough, you can get a 20/20 hydra out as soon as turn 6, and if said hydra is Genesis Hydra, you can bring out a good old Eldrazi titan as well. It's the two for one special!

enter image description here

There is really not much to say about the late game. it really is just a continuation of the mid game, except with much bigger creatures. I'm talking 50/50 Hydras, all the eldrazi titans. Two really big colossi, one of which with infect, and a frog thing with wings, also probably a 50/50. Just keep on doing what you were doing, and victory will be assured.

Some removal I have implemented into the deck for taking care of threats include:

Biggest cards to watch out for:

Have fun though with creatures that can only really be matched by a Consuming Aberration or something.

That is really all I have to say on the deck. Big Ramp.... Big Mana.... BIG GUY!

I'd recommend you add Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir. Gives your creature spells flash (which is great when you have mana floating around all the time) AND it makes your creature spells immune to instant-speed counterspells :)

A personal favorite of mine in green large-creature-decks is Elvish Piper; works like a second, even cheaper Quicksilver Amulet.

Another fun idea would be All Is Dust; fantastic to use once your Eldrazi beasts are on the field and all that stands in your way to victory are annoying tax enchantments or indestructible permanents.

Anyways, hope this helps. Have fun.

If you're looking for some more good mana dorks, Fyndhorn Elves and Llanowar Elves are solid options. In fact, I'd replace Blisterpod with one of those two, they're pretty strict upgrades. I'd also cut Scour from Existence in favor of Beast Within.

Prophet of Kruphix is a welcome addition in decks like this. I also think Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix and staples like Coiling Oracle and Sea Gate Oracle could fit nicely as well. Mind you these are just small fry creatures that provide a lot of value for their cost.

You can also try Champion of Rhonas for extra cheat cards to compliment Elvish Piper :)

Thank you all for your comments. You are such beautiful people. Everytime I recieve a comment I learn something new, and I am so thankful for that.

Hyperalgialysis, I would love to have Prophet of Kruphix in the deck but it does not appear to be commander legal. Coiling Oracle is definatly going in the deck however, so thank you.

ComboCrazy, I do like Beast Within, however I am not willing to part with Scour from Existence, so I will run them both. Also I feel silly for forgetting Llanowar Elves, thank you very much for reminding me. I was just running Blisterpod because I knew I had like 50 of them XD

NV_1980, you have probably just introduced me to two of my new favourite cards. Elvish Piper and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir are amazing cards thank you for that. Also I was hesitant to put in All Is Dust because of my big hydras that could be killed by that spell, but I see your point that it could be necessary if they have a Darksteel Myr or something.

Finally, IAmTheWraith, thank you that zoom tuttle in my spirit animal :)

Keep those suggestions coming everybody. May you all be blessed with endless pizza!!!!!!

Try Pull from Tomorrow instead of Mind Spring. The instant speed makes greatly makes up for having to discard a card, considering that Kruphix can easily cast either for at least and you generally draw into at least one disposable card.

Another recent card I've had success with in my Kruphix list is Cascading Cataracts. Sometimes, I just need to convert a bunch of cached colorless mana into a few colors, and this does the job nicely without taking up a nonland slot. Being indestructible has come in handy a couple of times too.

Here's my list if you're interested.
