The deck aims to fill the board with Nest of Scarabs and either finish the opponent off with a horde of tokens or heavy-hitters like Ammit Eternal, Noxious Hatchling and Phyrexian Hydra, all of which help create tokens along the way with Nest of Scarabs out and greatly benefit from Hapatra's Mark as a power boost in addition to survivability.

Corrosive Mentor gives our insect tokens and Ammit Eternals wither to churn out even more tokens and trigger Blowfly Infestation as often as possible to get rid of cluttered enemy boards.

Obelisk Spider provides both drain and lifegain, while Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons provides additional tokens even without tools to let her damage opponents more easily, who may not be able to gain wither from Corrosive Mentor but should still be useful through deathtouch. So far there's only Scarscale Ritual for card draw.
