Winding constrictor plus deeproot champion plus control stuff. Winding Constrictor and Deeproot Champion ... did no one notice that interaction?

This deck has a few things going for it. First, if you can drop a Deeproot Champion early on, maybe get a constrictor in play, the champ will get fat, and I mean fat. River Heralds' Boon adds 3 counters on the champ by itself (two from the spell, one from the champ's ability) and with a snake in play that gives it a fourth counter, giving it a permanent +4/+4 for just two mana.

Also, Deeproot Champion is a merfolk, meaning it dodges Walk the Plank which I predict will be an important removal spell. Yes it still dies to Fatal Push which is everywhere but hey, it's something.

Per suggestion I might add a couple Blossoming Defenses. With Shapers' Sanctuary and Blossoming Defense their spell gets countered and you still draw a card. Plus you played a non-creature meaning the champ gets buffed. I'll probably take out Primal Amulet and replace it with blossoming defense since, at 4 mana, in testing it is just too slow.

Vraska, Relic Seeker is in there because 1) heck why not we're in BG and 2) because she does some serious work. Once you cast her she must be answered or she just takes over the game by herself. I mean, she even triggers the Champion when you cast her. Lot's to like about this planeswalker.
